TheatrePeace Inc. is a Toronto-based educational theatre company offering a variety of drama and dance workshops and performances for schools and communities. Our workshops are designed to meet Ontario arts curriculum expectations, while encouraging work that is respectful, cooperative, and team-oriented.
TheatrePeace works with classrooms, summer camps, and afterschool programs across Southern Ontario. Workshops are available to all grades, groups, and skill levels.

TheatrePeace and Back Burner Productions: Shadow Puppets at Nuit Blanche, October 4, 2008 During this year's third annual Nuit Blanche festival in Toronto, come see dazzling street performances at Yorkville and Yonge, across from Crepes a Go-Go, where a once-in-a-lifetime spectacle awaits. Six outer windows in an historic building will be lit up with shadow puppet plays, following an outdoor film screening at dusk. Bring the whole family!

Humanity in Harmony Festival at York University, October 2008 TheatrePeace is proud to be part of the third annual Humanity in Harmony festival, which takes place at York University. The evening's concert will feature dance, music, spoken word, theatre, and installations, by many talented artists, including the African Dance Ensemble. Check out their website for more information.
Umbrella Agency Conference, March 1, 2008 This excellent conference for childcare providers took place in Scarborough on March 1st. We were honoured to take part by leading two workshops on Dramatic Play and Storytelling. Among the participants were daycare workers, preschool teachers and staff, ECE students, and others working with young children
2008-09 Afterschool and in-school programs We are pleased to announce ten in- and afterschool programs in the Westview Family of Schools. These programs include Rhythm & Drumming, Storytelling, Dance, Mime & Movement, and TheatreKidz drama club. Hundreds of students from grades 1 to 5 have the opportunity to express themselves creatively and to productively fill their afterschool hours, thanks to the generous support of the Westview Partnership and its coordinator, Jackie Robinson.
